Sony SEL50F18F/2 Black All Cameras Lens sku-345614499

Sony SEL50F18F/2 is a Black 50mm f/1.8 prime lens in All Cameras, SKU sku-345614499 and UPC 843342111955. Designed for Sony E-mount full-frame cameras, it also works with E-mount APS-C cameras, where its 35mm-equivalent focal length is 75mm. The bundle includes a 49mm filter and accessories.

Its wide aperture helps separate the subject from a softly blurred background and improves low-light performance. With an a-series body that has in-body stabilization, handheld shooting in dim light is more feasible without very high ISO settings. The 7-blade circular aperture shapes out-of-focus highlights.

A double-gauss design reduces field curvature and distortion; an aspherical element controls spherical aberration and coma. The lens has a metal mount and a DC motor that moves all lens groups for fast, quiet autofocus and smooth focus transitions. The optical construction has 5 groups, 6 elements and 1 aspherical element.

Its APS-C angle of view is 32 degrees, and its 35mm angle of view is 47 degrees. The aperture range is f/1.8 to f/22. Minimum focus distance is 0.45m (1.48', or 17.72 inches), and maximum magnification is 0.15x.
