Sony ECM-S1 Black Wireless Microphones | sku-5202935987

Sony ECM-S1 Wireless Microphones in Black, sku-5202935987, UPC 027242929111. The compact microphone and receiver use three 14 mm capsules designed for voice recording, with low intrinsic noise and a wide dynamic range. A side switch selects uni-directional, omni-directional or stereo pickup.

A digital noise-cut filter reduces persistent background noise, while a low-cut filter reduces low-frequency sound from wind, air conditioning and vibration. A pop guard helps reduce vocal plosives. The AUDIO LEVEL dial adjusts input, and a LINK lamp shows the microphone-to-receiver connection. Both units have built-in batteries; the microphone runs for about 13 hours on a full charge.

The receiver can draw continuous power through a compatible camera's Multi Interface Shoe or a connected device. Bluetooth 5.3 with an LC3plus codec supports transmission up to 150 m with a clear line of sight. The microphone angle adjusts on a stand, and its 1/4" thread supports tripod mounting; an adapter can attach it to a boom arm.

A compatible Sony camera can receive digital audio through its Multi Interface Shoe. Both units have USB Type-C ports for 48 kHz / 24-bit digital output. The receiver also has a 3.5 mm stereo output for devices without a Multi Interface Shoe, and the microphone has a headphone jack for monitoring during USB recording.
