The back-illuminated sensor architecture and copper wiring layer accelerate data transfer so the camera can produce 14-bit, 61MP images with exceptional clarity, low noise and a quoted 15-stop dynamic range. Native sensitivity runs ISO 100-32000 and can be expanded to ISO 50-102400. Performance is driven by the BIONZ X image processor with Front-End LSI, which enables fast continuous shooting and helps minimize rolling shutter and motion artifacts. The a7R IVA can capture up to 10 fps at full resolution for up to 68 consecutive frames with full-time AF/AE, and it supports advanced AF tracking. Video capabilities include UHD 4K30p recording with HLG and S-Log3 gamma options.
