The Sony a6700 condenses Cinema Line technologies, α-series still-image rendering, and advanced AI recognition into a compact mirrorless body aimed at creators who need both photo and video power. It is driven by a 26.0MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor paired with the BIONZ XR processor, a combination first seen in the FX30, yet the a6700 manages to be lighter than its predecessor for greater portability. Video and burst performance: the camera delivers UHD 4K oversampled from 6K, can produce 10-bit UHD 4K footage at up to 120 fps, and supports continuous still shooting at a top rate of 11 fps with AF and AE, recording up to 59 compressed raw still images in a burst.
