The SonicWall TZ370 (02SSC6822) is a wired network security appliance built for high connection density and multi-layer threat inspection. It supports up to 900,000 maximum connections (SPI), 200,000 maximum connections (DPI), and 30,000 maximum connections (DPI SSL) simultaneous sessions. Performance figures include 3 Gbps firewall inspection throughput, 1 Gbps threat prevention throughput, and 1.5 Gbps application inspection throughput. Additional processing capabilities are 1.5 Gbps IPS throughput, 1 Gbps anti-malware inspection throughput, and 500 Mbps TLS/SSL inspection and decryption throughput (DPI SSL). VPN capacity is 1.3 Gbps for IPSec. Hardware connectivity is via wired interfaces with 8 x 1 GbE copper ports.
