The unit runs directly from solar panels and will automatically start and stop with sunlight, offering simple operation and low-maintenance use. The high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motor delivers strong performance while reducing the required solar array size compared with less efficient motors. Solar panel sizing guidance: first determine the pump’s input power (pump power). To estimate the required solar array nominal power, divide the pump input power by the solar panels’ power generation efficiency of 65% (up to 70%) or multiply the pump input power by 1.5 — that result is the nominal solar panel power you should supply to the pump. Note: if you size panels by dividing pump power by 70%, the array will typically provide rated power for only about 3 to 4 hours; outside that window the panels may not meet the pump’s full rated demand.
