The single-hand crank uses smooth-rolling bearings for quick, even retrieval without a second person on the far end. Fits top rails 6" and wider. Durable, non-corrosive aluminum tubing telescopes to accommodate pools up to 18' and 24' across and accepts solar covers up to 12 MIL thick. 1-year warranty. BETTER — DELUXE WHEEL (RESIN): A user-friendly reel intended for solo operation — when you want to swim, lift one end of the reel-and-cover assembly and pivot it out of the pool area. Supplied with two heavy-duty hand cranks for added convenience. The system is simple to assemble and can be mounted to a deck or wall using high-quality flanges that bolt to the top rail. Compatible with round and oval pools and built with rugged aluminum tubing to resist sagging over time. 1-year warranty. NOTE: The 28' wide reel uses a different post and crank arrangement to handle the increased weight of larger solar covers. BEST — COMMERCIAL GRADE (ALUMINUM): A more robust reel designed for demanding use. The steel reel design is paired with super-strong aluminum tubes to support heavier covers. This aluminum reel ships with all hardware, including straps and fasteners, and can be configured as a top-rail slide-on or socket-mount system. All reels accommodate covers up to 12 MIL in thickness and are NOT FOR SOFT-SIDED SWIMMING POOLS.
