This Smartech Cat6 Riser (CMR) cable is a 1000ft spool of 23 AWG, 4-pair UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) Ethernet cable in blue. Constructed with a CCA conductor that is copper cladded, it delivers strong signal strength and excellent conductivity. The cable has been tested to a bandwidth of up to 550MHz and supports 1 GBit/s; it can also be suitable for 10 Gbit/s performance depending on installation conditions. Rated for fast Ethernet uses such as 1000BASE-T, 10GBASE-T and audio/video transmissions. Designed for riser applications, it can be run between floors, inside walls and in other non-plenum spaces. The jacket is fire retardant (CMR), lightproof, meets or exceeds ANSI TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standards and is RoHS compliant. Its riser rating helps limit flame propagation along floor cavities and reduces toxic smoke emission in case of fire.
