Its microprocessor provides accurate readings across a 0-9990 ppm range. Resolution is 1 ppm from 0 to 999 ppm and 10 ppm from 1000 to 9990 ppm; a blinking 'x10' indicates the latter range.
The meter is factory calibrated with a 342 ppm NaCl solution and can be recalibrated with a mini-screwdriver. It shuts off after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery power. A Quick-Connect T-fitting is included in the standard 1/4 inch size; 3/8" and 1/2" sizes are also available. It is designed for quick installation.
