This 6" wood lathe faceplate is made from No.45 hard steel for improved durability and a longer service life. The 1"X8TPI threaded mount fits with most wood lathes on the market. A flat-cut tail surface simplifies installation and removal (wrench not provided). The faceplate includes jackscrews and provides 12 screw holes to secure your workpiece. Two nylon washers create a slight separation between metal surfaces to reduce sticking while maintaining a solid mount.
