Made in the USA, it has a 4.75" cutting edge, a square poll and a tapered bit ground and honed by hand for chopping, splitting and clearing.
The straight-grain handle has low moisture content to limit shrinkage and help maintain a secure fit. The heat-treated head has red enamel and clear lacquer on the cutting edges to resist rust. It is intended for professional or recreational use.
