Simrad R2009 9" Portrait Radar Display (000-12186-001) — Requires Radar Dome

Compact, ultra-bright radar display and control unit for Simrad radar systems. The R2009 features a 9" portrait screen designed for center consoles and tight mounting locations, and is built to complement Simrad glass-bridge instruments. It offers high brightness for outside use and anti-sea-clutter technology to maintain a clear radar picture in rough conditions. MARPA target tracking is supported for enhanced situational awareness. Intuitive physical controls include a keypad and rotary-dial interface with 8 direct-access menu keys; large, dependable buttons are suitable for wet weather and demanding sea states. Installation is flexible with both bracket and flush-mount options to fit a wide range of helm layouts. Network and sensor connectivity: Ethernet makes installation and networking of multiple control units straightforward. The R2009 also provides dual NMEA 0183® ports and NMEA 2000® connectivity for compatible devices such as heading and speed sensors, AIS transceivers, and GPS receivers. Requirements and notes: Requires a compatible Simrad radar system (radar dome required). MARPA target tracking requires a heading sensor. Some display features may also need additional hardware such as a GPS receiver or AIS receiver.
