Simrad SIM00013250001 Boating NAC-3 computer sku-193445136

Simrad NAC-3 high-current autopilot computer, model SIM00013250001 and 000-13250-001, is a Boating product in color Other. SKU: sku-193445136; UPC: 9420024154397. It contains B&G Reflex Sailing control algorithms and electronics for hydraulic or mechanical steering drives. It works with heading sensors and rudder feedback units and is designed for boats 10 metres (33 feet) or longer.

It supports 12/24V DC input, a 30A continuous drive load and 50A peak load for 1s, plus a 3A clutch output. The waterproof rating is IPx7; the stated power specification is 12/24 V DC +10-30%. Rudder control supports reversible motors and on/off solenoid valves, with a 10mA to 10A solenoid load range and off current below 1mA. The bypass/clutch engage output has a 10mA minimum and 3A maximum.

Rudder feedback options include NMEA 2000 RF25 and frequency-based RF300; the frequency input is specified at 15V, 1.4 to 5kHz, with 20Hz/° resolution. Interfaces include NMEA 0183 with 1 input and 1 output, NMEA2000 with LEN 1, and NFU port/starboard input with mode-indicator output. An external open/close or pulse contact can select SYSTEM SELECT mode; the contact current maximum is 30mA.

There is also an external buzzer or relay alarm output rated to 100mA at the local supply voltage. The box contains the NAC-3, an N2KEXT-2RD 0.61 m (2-ft) cable and an NMEA N2K-T-RD T connector.
