The full-tang, riveted micarta handle resists moisture and has a contoured shape with a smooth transition to the blade. The knife measures 61-62 on the Rockwell hardness scale and has a hand-sharpened, double-bevel 16° edge on each side. It is handcrafted in Seki, Japan, and carries a limited lifetime warranty.
Wash and dry it by hand: the exposed carbon steel can rust without proper care and will darken into a patina over time.
