The compact, lightweight Shield Prime alarm has a vibration-only mode for discreet use at camps and sleepovers. Its sensor detects the first drop of urine, then the alarm uses sound, light and vibration to wake the child.
Shield describes the process as detect, alert and train, and says a child can learn to recognize the need to empty their bladder at night within a few weeks. Free, unlimited specialist advice is available to discuss treatment progress. Parents can track progress with golden star and silver moon stickers.
The alarm has a microprocessor-controlled unit, is FDA registered and CE certified, and comes with a one-year warranty. Clean the sensor after each accident with soapy water and a small toothbrush, remove excess water, and let it dry completely before reuse. The alarm is offered in Red and Royal Blue with a metallic finish.
The retail box contains the alarm unit, Strong Hold Sensor, snap-on clip, 2 AAA batteries, progress stickers and a user manual.
