Shed Defender Sport Pink XS sku-683755354 819026021933

The patent-pending Shed Defender Sport is a Pink, XS dog onesie in the Dog Clothes and Costumes category (SKU sku-683755354; UPC 819026021933). It contains loose hair within the suit while allowing the dog to shed naturally. Its snug fit applies gentle pressure that may help calm dogs during thunderstorms, fireworks or separation anxiety.

The suit can cover hot spots and surgery sites and help prevent scratching or licking; it is described as veterinarian approved and recommended. The zipper ends at the underbelly, leaving the back end open, so it does not cover neuter or spay surgery sites. The maker suggests its Original or Recovery Suit for those sites.

Outdoors, the bodysuit can help protect against ticks, other pests, burrs, cold, wind and UV exposure while keeping the dog cleaner. Its lightweight, breathable, four-way-stretch Shed-Tex fabric is made from recycled polyester and spandex derived from recycled plastic bottles and allows full movement.

Shed Defender says it donates a portion of every sale to animal shelters and rescue groups through its Paw It Forward program.
