Shark AZ4000 Black Vacuum sku-5860191160 622356613354

Shark AZ4000 POWERDETECT is a Black/Teal upright vacuum in the Vacuums, Steamers & Floor Care category. Its DuoClean Detect system uses two brushrolls and four Intelli-Sense sensors to detect dirt, debris and hair, then adjust suction and brushroll speed. Dirt Detect increases cleaning power for material embedded in carpets.

Edge Detect raises suction within 2 inches of a wall or edge, including beneath baseboards. Floor Detect adjusts to the floor type, while Direction Detect directs suction for forward and reverse passes. The vacuum has a self-cleaning brushroll, LED lights and Odor Neutralizer Technology, which helps reduce odors inside the vacuum. Accessories for pet hair and hard-to-reach areas are included.

Shark claims the best overall cleaning of any vacuum based on a geomean of combined upright-market tests under IEC62885-2 Sec 5.3 FWD, Sec 5.3 REV, Sec 5.5 FWD and IEC62885 Sec 5.5 REV. Its suction claim is based on ASTM F558 measurements at the hose; its cleaning-technology claim is based on the number of features that autonomously alter cleaning performance.
