Westlake says it has made tires since 1958 and has sold them in Canada for over 16 years. The source describes sales in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa and says its manufacturing facility has received awards and recognition from the US Department of Transportation and the Economic Commission of Europe.

The tread has a V-groove pattern, two wide longitudinal drainage grooves and a sidewall rim protector, intended to support straight-line stability and handling. The source says its use of silicon dioxide in place of traditional carbon black reduces rolling resistance, increases traction and shortens braking distance.

Westlake also states that it works with domestic and global distributors on its product line and environmental protection products.
