This USA-made 290 Series helmet has a lift front, a 2-inch x 4.25-inch viewing area and a shade 10 lens. Its molded Super Tuff nylon shell is lighter than fiberglass and is designed for durability.
An extended crown provides overhead coverage, while a rigid neck bib shields against spatter. The patented Sel-Snap system holds the filter, cover and protective plate for easy loading. The helmet includes Sellstrom quick-release ratchet headgear with a sweatband (S27001) for operator comfort and safety.
It can also mount on a slotted hard hat with the Sellstrom dielectric universal slot adaptor (S61970).
