This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We maintain a large inventory, so the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Most Seagate PCBs store unique, drive-specific data in a ROM (sometimes called the "memory" chip); that ROM data is required for correct operation. You must transfer the ROM chip or its contents to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the physical transplant.
