This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the drive itself is not included. Because we carry a large inventory of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: HDD repair or data-recovery work. Before ordering, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many Seagate PCBs store unique service data in a ROM chip that is required for normal operation. That ROM (or its contents) must be copied or transferred to the replacement board. If chip transplant is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — we will either transplant the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
