This listing is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we have a large stock of compatible PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function properly; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If transferring the chip is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the swap.
