Item is the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — hard drive is not included. We maintain a large inventory of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photos. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery use. Many Seagate PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for proper drive operation. That ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
