Listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — hard drive is NOT included. Because we maintain a large stock, the actual PCB shipped may vary slightly from the photo. This board is supplied for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement PCB will fix your drive by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most PCBs contain unique drive-specific data stored in a ROM ("memory") chip; that data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be moved or copied to the replacement board. If chip transplant is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
