This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we keep a large inventory of PCBs, the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB replacement will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique ROM (memory) data that is required for correct drive operation; the ROM chip or its stored data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
