This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or HDD repair. Most hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip — or its contents — must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform it.
