This listing is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the drive itself is not included. Because we keep a large inventory, the exact board you receive may look slightly different from the photo. The PCB is sold for repair and data-recovery use; replacing the board can resolve some failures but may not fix all problems. Most PCBs store unique drive parameters in a ROM "memory" chip; this ROM data is required for the hard drive to function correctly.
