This listing is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important: most Seagate PCBs contain unique ROM ("memory") chip data required for the drive to operate correctly. That ROM/data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically transplanted, a local computer technician can usually perform the swap.
