This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Because we maintain a large stock of PCBs, the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the picture. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before buying, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many Seagate PCBs contain a unique ROM "memory" chip holding data required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip (or its data) must be transferred to the replacement board; if the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers who prefer professional help, purchases of $60 or more include complimentary adaptation service — we will either transplant the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
