This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique data in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved to the new PCB, a local computer technician can usually perform that swap. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
