This sale is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Designed for data recovery and HDD repair, this replacement board is intended to restore drive functionality when compatible. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM 'memory' chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly, so the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — we will either transplant the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
