This listing is for the Seagate hard drive logic board (PCB) only — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of compatible PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Use this PCB for hard drive repair or data recovery applications. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement board will solve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate PCBs include a ROM memory chip that holds unique drive-specific data required for correct operation; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician should be able to move the chip or reprogram the new board.
