This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Parts are shipped from a large inventory, so the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair or data recovery for compatible Seagate 2.5" SATA drives. Before buying, confirm this board will work for your drive by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique ROM data stored in a memory chip; that ROM information is required for the drive to function properly. You must transfer the ROM chip or its data to the replacement board for correct operation. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip to the new circuit board. For customers who spend $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
