This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board only — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock large quantities, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Designed for Seagate SATA 2.5 drives, this board is intended for use in repair and data recovery scenarios. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB is likely to resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many of these PCBs contain unique ROM data that is required for the drive to function properly; that ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
