This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — the drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock large quantities, the exact circuit board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended purpose: data recovery or repair of compatible Seagate 2.5" SATA drives. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will address your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for normal drive operation; the ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM contents.
