This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of these boards, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair or data recovery. Important: most Seagate PCBs store unique calibration and configuration data in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
