This sale is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we carry a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These circuit boards are supplied for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most PCBs contain unique ROM data required for normal drive operation; that ROM or its contents must be moved to the replacement board or the new board must be reprogrammed. If you cannot perform the ROM transplant yourself, a local computer technician can usually complete the task. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either transferring the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
