This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB/logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Due to our large stock of PCBs, the board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Designed for hard drive repair and data recovery, this PCB is intended as a replacement board for compatible Seagate drives. Prior to ordering, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue by consulting our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique setup data stored in the ROM (memory) chip which is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board; if the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the procedure. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either relocating the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
