This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — the hard drive itself is not included. Due to large stock levels, the actual printed circuit board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This replacement PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery scenarios. Before purchasing, confirm compatibility by consulting our Donor Matching Guide and run the steps in our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide to ensure a PCB swap will address the problem. Important: most Seagate PCBs contain unique ROM data required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct ROM data. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the proper ROM information.
