This listing is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may vary slightly from the picture shown. The board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Most hard drive circuit boards contain unique configuration stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that information is required for the drive to operate properly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
