This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These boards are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Most Seagate PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. That ROM chip or its contents must be transferred onto the replacement board; if the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
