This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the specific board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for data recovery and hard drive repair tasks. Most hard drive PCBs include unique data stored in a ROM memory chip; that ROM content is required for the drive to operate correctly and must be transferred to the replacement board. To confirm a replacement PCB will fix your drive, follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and check compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a qualified local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
