This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or repair of compatible hard drives. Compatibility check: review the Donor Matching Guide to ensure this part matches your drive. Important technical note: many Seagate PCBs store unique, drive-specific data in a ROM (memory) chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly, so the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot move the chip yourself, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer.
