This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory of similar PCBs, the specific board you receive may differ slightly from the pictured unit. Intended use: replacement PCB for hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap is the appropriate fix by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide to ensure the board will work with your drive. Important: many Seagate PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. That ROM data (or the ROM chip itself) must be transferred to the replacement circuit board. If you cannot perform the transfer, a qualified local computer technician should be able to move the chip.
