This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the drive is not included. We maintain a large inventory, so the PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. The board is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery applications. Please confirm compatibility before purchasing: follow our hard drive diagnostics guide to determine whether a PCB replacement will fix your unit, and review the Donor Matching Guide to ensure the part is a match. Many PCBs hold drive-specific information in a ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for normal drive operation and must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be desoldered and moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
