This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. We stock a large quantity of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Most Seagate PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip itself or its contents must be moved or copied to the replacement board. If transplanting the chip is feasible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
