This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the drive is not included. Because we have a large stock of similar PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: replacement for Seagate SATA 3.5 drive repairs and data recovery. Before ordering, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. That ROM chip, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct ROM contents. If you are not comfortable performing this, a local computer technician can usually transplant the chip.
