This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Before ordering, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most drive PCBs store unique information in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be moved to the replacement board. If moving the chip is feasible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
