This sale is for the hard drive PCB/logic board only — the physical Seagate hard drive is NOT included. Because we stock many boards, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair work. Before ordering, verify whether a replacement board will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide. Confirm compatibility by checking the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most Seagate PCBs store unique drive-specific data in a ROM (memory) chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly and must be transferred to the replacement board (or the ROM chip moved onto the new PCB). If moving the chip is possible, a local IT technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip to your new board or reprogramming the replacement PCB with the correct ROM data.
