This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the Seagate 3.5" drive itself is not included. Because we stock many of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement board will resolve your issue by following our hard drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most Seagate PCBs store unique configuration in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be copied/transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — we will either transplant the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
